I took the dogs on a walk,
through the marsh,
over to the farm.
A glorious day.
The sun so bright and warm,
the snow as bright and cold,
it seemed as if the narrow creek
was snaking over the marsh,
running to join the
two ice covered lakes.
Trees, heavy with berries,
offer the chirping birds
A treat.
A stand of cattails
call a greeting
"love is all around us."
A glorious day.
